Proguard Bufferboard is a heavy-duty, honeycombed polypropylene protection board designed to deliver robust, long-lasting surface protection during construction, refurbishment or fit-out works — especially where durability, reusability and site sustainability are priorities.

• The unique honeycomb structure offers excellent load-bearing performance, suitable for heavy traffic zones, wheeled scaffold towers, powered plant, or heavy-duty site access.

• Compared with traditional plywood or hardboard, Bufferboard is much lighter while still offering heavy-duty protection. This makes handling, installation and removal far easier. 

• Unlike wood-based boards (plywood, OSB, hardboard), polypropylene Bufferboard is unaffected by moisture, a big advantage for internal works or where wet trades are present. 

• Its robustness means it can be cleaned, stored, and reused, reducing the need for single-use floor protection and supporting more sustainable material practices. 

• Can be scored or cut with a knife to fit bespoke shapest giving flexibility on-site without demanding specialist tools. 

• The cellular structure also offers a good level of slip resistance beneficial on sites with scaffolding or high foot/plant traffic.
