Our Stair & Edge Protection range offers comprehensive protection for staircases, landings, handrails, balustrades and exposed edges during construction, refurbishment or fit-out works. Engineered to shield these higher-risk zones from impact damage, scuffs, dust, and traffic before hand-over, these temporary protection solutions help maintain the finish integrity and site safety of stair cases and edges. Protecting edges and stair components mitigates snagging, damage to bespoke finishes, and the need for replacement or remedial works at hand-over.

Our stair and edge protection solutions include Proguard Rigid Stair Tread Guards, manufactured from high-impact PVC and pre-creased to cover both stair treads and risers. Their slip-resistant, water-repellent surface provides durable, re-usable protection even in busy work areas. For premium finishes and permanent installations, the Proguard Black and Yellow Stair Nosing offers added edge visibility and heavy-duty grip, ideal for high-traffic zones and compliance with site safety standards. Our Foam Handrail Protectors wrap-around and encase handrails and are ideal for preventing dents, chips and scratch damage during site activity, especially in lift-lobbies, corridors and stairwells.

All products are simple to install, reposition or remove without damaging underlying materials, and can be secured with our Tapes or connectors for extra stability. As part of SitePro Direct’s complete temporary protection system, they integrate seamlessly with Floor, Door, and Window Protection products to create a unified on-site defence against damage.
