Proguard Floor Protection
Without using temporary floor protection materials you can run the risk of incurring extra costs for replacement or cleaning, caused by damage sustained during the build process, not to mention the damage to your reputation. This can all be avoided, however, by protecting your flooring using one of our many products.
Whether you have a marble, wooden, vinyl, carpet or a hard surface, such as a concrete floor we have a product designed for your specific application. For sensitive surfaces such as marble, we recommend using our Proguard Premium Fleece to avoid scratches. This may be used under our Proguard Protection Board for the ultimate protection level. Furthermore, for surfaces which need to cure, such as newly laid natural wood floors, we suggest using our highly breathable Proguard Breathable Fleece.
Floor protection COVERING during light traffic
For lighter traffic applications such as foot traffic, we recommend our Floor Protection Films. This is also available for hard floor protection applications such as wood, tiles and glass protection. Designed for the purpose of protecting a hard floor surface during construction work or painting and decorating, Hard Surface Protection Film has a special low-tack adhesive that is perfect for hard surfaces such as kitchen furniture and worktops.
The Proguard Hard Surface Film has a number of benefits that builders, painters and those involved with DIY can look forward to, such as being self-adhesive, lightweight, tear and puncture-resistant, and 100% waterproof. The hard surface film works provides carpet protection, keeps floors paint-free during decorating and can even keep dust off of surfaces.
Floor protection during heavy traffic
When floors need to be protected from heavy plant machinery, such as scissor lifts and fork trucks, we recommend our Proguard Bufferboard which has excellent crush resistance. Manufactured from heavy duty honeycombed polypropylene, our bufferboards are tear, puncture, and impact resistant.
Fire retardant protection
Increasingly, construction sites are requiring the use of fire retardant materials to reduce the risk of a fire breaking out. Many of our flame/fire retardant protection products are certified to the LPS1207 standard.
