Proguard Window Protection Films are a 100% waterproof, high-quality self-adhesive film designed specifically for the protection of windows, glazed panels, and window frames which are often susceptible to scratches, plaster and paint splashes, especially during refurbishment.
Proguard Window Protection Film can be left on for 40 days, however, our BRAND NEW 6-Month Window Protection Film can be left on for 6 months – saving labour time and cost incurred by replacing the film every 40 days. If you need something which can be left on for longer, we would recommend the Proguard UV Stable Protection Board, with the Proguard Window Tape and Adhesive Base Stick Pins to attach the Correx sheeting to windows. Alternatively, we also recommend the Protectapeel which can be left on for a year.
Our Carpet Protection Films are perfect for protecting carpets from spillages and debris during building, painting, DIY projects, house moves, parties, and other events to help reduce clean-up time. The adhesive backing adheres to most carpets and carpet tiles and ensures that the film stays securely in place, making it safer than traditional dust sheets and polythene. After use, it can be peeled away without leaving any residue.
The Carpet Protection Film products can be left on for 40 days, but if you would prefer longer-term protection we recommend our Correx Protection Boards.

It is perfect for preventing damage from spillages and other debris as well as reducing clean-up time at the end of a building, DIY project or party/event, etc. This product can also be used for the protection of items after manufacture to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
The Proguard Hard Surface Protection Film can be left on for 40 days but if you want something which can be left on for longer then we would recommend the Proguard Premium Fleece which can be left on indefinitely.
To conclude, all of our films can be left for a minimum of 40 days, however, there are longer-term alternatives if you need protection for more time or indefinitely. Films are worth investing in at the start of a project to prevent damage or any accidents from occurring.
